What is your refund and replacement policy?
Workwell SimpleLabs is an online at home health screening service. You will need a computer or device with Internet access to use our service and to view your recommendations based upon your results. Your placement of an order from Workwell SimpleLabs constitutes your acceptance of our Terms of Service.
Cancelling an Order
If you change your mind about purchasing our service and cancel before we initiate fulfillment of your order, the charge will be voided. This cancellation option is available for 12 hours after you place your order. In order for you to cancel your order, you will need to send an email with a cancelation request to [email protected] within 12 hours of placing your order. All orders are initiated at 9am PST. Orders are submitted at 9pm PST each day for fulfillment the following day.
- If the screening kit has already been shipped to you (typically within 12 hours of placing your order) and you return the screening kit to Workwell SimpleLabs unopened, we will provide a full refund less shipping costs and a $20 cancellation fee. You will be responsible for return shipping fees.
- If you have opened the screening kit but have not yet registered the kit online and no longer wish to purchase our service, we will refund the balance of the total purchase price less shipping costs and a $50 screening kit charge. You will need to send an email with this request to initiate the refund within 30 days of purchase.
Once you have sent in your test and the lab has processed your test there will be NO refunds.
Any refunds provided under this policy will be issued to the same credit card used for the purchase and will be processed within 14 business days of confirmation by our Workwell SimpleLabs Service Team. Your refund will be processed within 14 business days. There will be a processing fee of 3% of the purchase price.

Replacing A Kit
If your sample collection kit is lost or damaged, we will ship you a replacement kit free of charge. You can request a replacement kit by contacting Workwell SimpleLabs service team at [email protected]. You will need to provide proof of damage or non-delivery to receive a replacement kit.
DNA Genetic Tests
How does the DNA Genetic Testing Work?
We use a noninvasive swab to collect cells from the mouth. The swab is easy to use and only takes about a minute to collect enough DNA for analysis. Once collected, the swab is mailed directly to our lab for analysis. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes before administering the test.
What genes are analyzed with the genetic test?
The lab analyzes approximately 115 unique genetic markers that have been shown through external research to be related to various ways the human body processes food, nutrients, and physical exercise, CBD, cannabis as well as how the body responds to the aging process.
Will you test for any inherited diseases?
No. Workwell SimpleLabs focuses solely on those genes that are related to the body’s ability to process food, nutrients, physical exercise, aging, CBD, and cannabis. Any DNA test performed to detect predictors for disease should be interpreted by a physician or a certified genetic counselor.
What will happen to my sample after is has been analyzed?
Unless you give us authorization to store your sample in the lab’s bio-banking facility, your DNA sample will be destroyed within days of analyzing the DNA.
When will I get my results?
Typical turnaround time for the entire process (swab kit shipping, DNA extraction and analysis, quality inspection, report generation) is approximately 10-20 business days. We will email you as soon as your report is ready.
How is my personal information protected?
To prevent unauthorized access to your information, our systems are run on HIPAA-compliant architecture, employing secure servers, firewalls, and encrypted back-ups.
Who can view my account information?
You control access to your account information and test results. As long as you do not share your account password and username, no other individual will have access to your account or your results.
